MERRY CHRISTMAS BLOGLAND!!!!

This is a scheduled post .. and I hope at this very moment I am unwrapping pressies from Santa lol

Today is the first midway slot for TOTALLY TILDA "Thank You" challenge and here is mine .....

I love this Tilda together with this suitcase stamp .. I think they go well together :)   I've coloured with Copics and cut a "doiley" shape using a Martha Stewart Punch around the Page.  The sentiment is one of mine from a clear stamp set MINI MUST HAVES - EVERYDAY and I've punched it out with a Stampin Up oval punch.

MIDWAY MASKING REMINDER

Good Morning All

Hope you are having a good weekend ... I popped out to a local craft shop yesterday who had their members day on where you get 30% off!!! Yay!!! Met up with Wendy Woo and had a cuppa too ... Fab :)

Oh .. and you might have noticed my new blog background .... was gonna wait until 1st December to put it on but really couldn't wait ... I'm in the Christmas spirit already lol ... decorations go up next week and I'm nearly finished Christmas shopping .. how great is that!!!

Anyway .... just thought I'd pop by and remind you that you still have a week to enter the challenge over at TOTALLY TILDA where the theme this time is:

MASKING

Here's another card to show you ... plenty more to be seen so pop on over and check out my teamies for their fab creations :)

Thought I'd keep the card nice and clean and simple so I could highlight the masking.  I've masked together two Tildas and a Magnolia presents stamp and coloured with Copics, keeping the colours to just reds/greys (apart from flesh/hair) and mounted up on red card.  The sentiment is from a Christmas stamp set I've had for years and I punched it out with the Stampin Up Decorative Label punch and then finished off with Bakers Twine and Gems.

Evening All

Hope you all had a good day ... I've had my nails done and bought my sweets for Christmas .. now will they last until Christmas ... ooooh such temptation LOL!!!

Anyway .. thought I'd show you a card I made for a really good friend of mine Wendy Woo .. I missed her birthday :( but saw her last Saturday so she got a belated one ... better late then never eh??

This little cutie is from Hanglar Stanglar and I've coloured her with Copics.  The DP is from a My Minds Eyes paper stack that was free with a magazine and I used my new Stampin Up pendant punch to punch out of it too ... sentiment is from Stampin Up as well

KICK BACK AND RELAX

Good Morning All

It's a gorgeous day here in sunny Essex ... let's hope it last into the weekend :)

Thought I'd stop by today and show you a card I made for a lady who worked for my hubby and she took early retirement ...as usual he says "can you do me a retirement card" .. I say "sure .. when do you need it by?" ... he says "tomorrow!!!" - what are they like LOL!!!

Anyway .. after a quick trawl on the internet I came up with a fab digi image and then made a sentiment to match ...

This great image is by Karen's Doodles and is called FREEDOM - I coloured her with promarkers and added some glitter to the bubbles, then cut the image out using Labels One nesties and did a bit of distressing around the edge.  The sentiment is one of mine and I resized it to fit perfectly into the SU oval punch - it is today's Friday Freebie over at SENTIMENTS FOR YOU so go grab it for yourself!!

I thought it was such a fun card for a retirement ... what do you think??

Morning All

Hope you are all having a great weekend - I intend to spend today doing some catching up on DT cards - have been so busy lately with the website that I haven't just had a "play" for a while - so Sunday lunch and crafting ... seems like the perfect day to me!!

So ... another challenge begins today over at TOTALLY TILDA where this time the theme is :

I know you are all gonna laugh at me ... but whenever there is a birthday in our house - our Westie Skye always sends a card - yes I know I'm mad but I'm sure there are quite a few of you out there in blogland that do the same LOL!!!

I made this card for our daughter who was 21 a few weeks back :)

I just love this image of Tilda cuddling her doggie - I've sat her on the watering can and coloured her with copics.  You may be surprised ... NOT ... when I tell you that most of the bits and pieces I've used can found found at my online shop CRAFTS 4 YOU LOL!! It's just so tempting when the goodies arrive for me to squirrel some of them away and use them he he :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DI

Afternoon all

Couldn't show you this card until today and I hadn't given it to my friend Di :) It was actually her birthday last week but I saw her last night - had a fab night out with the girls - so good to get together!!

Her favourite colour is green ... so green it had to be!!

This is one of my new Tildas and I've paper pieced her balloon to match the DP and for a change I've stamped onto watercolour paper and painted with distress inks ... I really must do this more often as I really enjoyed it :), punch the side with my stampin up punch so it looks like I've torn it out the book and finished off with a swirl, a bow and some card candy.  The sentiment is one of mine and can be found as part of a set of 6 at SENTIMENTS 4 YOU

Well ... two weeks have passed and we have loved looking at all your baby baby creations over at TOTALLY TILDA - but now it's time for another theme and this time we want to see your Tildas with Hearts!!

As you can see I love these heart dies and this time I've cut it out on coredinations card, embossed it with my hearts folder and sanded it back, and for once I've stamped a greeting! and punched it out with my stampin up oval punches, colouring my hanging Tilda with copics :o)

Hello Again

Second posting of the day
Trawling through blogland at some of my favourite challenges and came up with these 3.

I love my Charmed Cards and Craft digi downloads and don't use them nearly enough - but after finding Dotties World challenge I'm making use of them, colouring, of course, with promarkers and using my stampin up goodies from my all day workshop the other week - all in all a good combination I think??
