Sunday again ... where does the week go?? and the ironing beckons yet again ... oh well the sooner it is done the sooner I can craft!!

Anyhow ... it's midway time at TOTALLY TILDA where we want to see your Tildas with non-domesticated animals :) ... no cats or dogs lol

I've coloured with copics.  The papers are Echo Park and I've punched out flowers with the paper too and finished off with some LACE, SEAM BINDING and beautiful FILIGREE CORNERS

I'VE BEEN PUBLISHED ... AGAIN!!

Good Morning All

Apologies for no posts for a week but I have been suffering with a cold and cough which has made me feel lousy :( .. but I had to drop by this morning and show you that I have been published again ... I'm so excited!!!!!

I am in the magazine supplement for Simply Cards & Papercraft which is concentrating on Christmas cards .....

I have used one of my sentiments from a set of 6 CHRISTMAS SAYINGS and cut it out using a nestie, the DP is from a Prima paper pad NORTH COUNTRY, the flowers are a cut and emboss Nellies punch POINSETTIA and I have finished it off with some SEAM BINDING and ADHESIVE PEARLS

Morning Blogland .. it's a lovely day here in Essex .. hope it's lovely wherever you are too :)

Today I thought I'd show you one of the cards I made for the Magazine article I did in Complete Cardmaking ... this is the sort of card we all dislike making but I wanted to show you how it can be done by just using a sentiment ....

I absolutely love this poem .. we read it at both my Mum and Dad's funerals and I think it sums up exactly what you feel ... this sentiment is part of a set of 6 REMEMBRANCE sentiments which you can find at my shop CRAFTS 4 YOU - finished off with SEAM BINDING and CARD CANDY

THERE'S A HUMPHREY IN THE HOUSE

Evening All

Hope you are all okay .. we are having a really hot spell at the moment and the weather is glorious!!!! This is what we should have had in July & August LOL ... still I'm not complaining ... just enjoying it now :)

I've been really busy today getting ready for my open day tomorrow :) anyone who can get to me ... I am having an open day so you can come and shop at CRAFTS 4 YOU - check website for details :)

Anyway on to my card ... I made this for another friend of mine whose birthday it was yesterday ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE!!!

I bought these Humphrey stamps a while ago and they have never been out of the packet ... shame on me !!! LOL - but couldn't resit inking up this little cutie for this card ... I've coloured her with Flexmarkers and cut her out using nesties - the sentiment is part of the stamp set as well.  The papers are from a new paper pad from Echo Park - VICTORIA GARDENS and I've finished off with SEAM BINDING and  PINK CRYSTAL GEMS

YEE HAW ... IT'S COWGIRL TILDA

Just thought I'd pop by and share with you a card I made for my friend Karen's birthday today HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN!!

I bought this Tilda ages ago and stamped her on water colour card and forgot all about her ... how could I??? LOL ... so decided to colour her for my friend's card

I've coloured her with my aquamarkers ... I really must use these more often lol .... the DP is from a paper pad from Basic Grey HELLO LUSCIOUS.  The flower is a NELLIE SNELLEN PUNCH AND EMBOSS, and I've embellished with ADHESIVE PEARLS and SEAM BINDING.  The sentiment is one of my digis from a set of 6 LINE SENTIMENTS - GENERAL which I've printed onto Letraset Safmat and stuck directly onto the paper.

THREE LITTLE CUTIE PIES

Afternoon All!!

Well I've finally recovered from my day at Ally Pally yesterday :) had a fab day with Wendy Woo!!! and it was so good to meet up with Vicky and it was great to see Sarah again :)

Got lots of new bits and bobs as well ...

Lili of the Valley stamps, stencils, new Sizzix dies, tag stamps, some great 12x12 papers yummy oh and some more copic colours too!!!

Anyway ... here is another Lili of the Valley Christmas card .. these little cuties may have made their way home with me yesterday he he he... thank you Wendy!!!

These beauties are called ALL IN A ROW and I've coloured them with copics, the papers are from a free My Minds Eye paper pad that came with this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft and I've embellished with PEARL GEMS, SEAM BINDING and flowers cut with a Nellie Snellen flower punch/emboss SMALL POINSETTIA .  The sentiment is one of mine from a clear stamp set MINI MUST HAVES - CHRISTMAS

TEDDY BEA SAYS THANK YOU

Morning All

Hope you are all well .... weather is not too good here so I'm gonna ink up my new stamps today and do some colouring .... nice & peaceful here .... my daughter is at work, my son is holed up in his bedroom on his X Box and hubby has gone to football :)

Before I get started I thought I'd share with you a card I made a few weeks ago for my hubby to give to one of his team members as a thank you :)

I've used a Teddy Bea image which is fab as the circle is empty so you can pop a sentiment into it and coloured with Promarkers, added pearls and a seam binding bow to a simple layout

This is one of Di's fab images SEASIDE TED - thought he just about summed up summer for me (if only the weather allowed it LOL) - I coloured him with Promarkers and did some matting and layering, added some seam binding and card candy.  The sentiment is one of mine and is from a set of 6 - SUNSHINE SMILES which all the DT used this time around on their cards ... go check them out HERE they are fabulous!!!!

TILDA IS TOTALLY DISTRESSED!!

Well I've just finished my ironing ... so the day is mine yay!!!

What's a girl to do ..... mmm let me think ..... CRAFT!!!! LOL

Anyway ... before I sneak off just wanted to let you know that there is till a week to run on the current challenge over at TOTALLY TILDA where the theme this time around is :

DISTRESSING

Here's mine ....

I bought Tilda with Birdcage ages ago and have been dying to use her but couldn't think of the right challenge .. when I saw this theme I knew this was the one - I've coloured her with Promarkers

I used a kraft card blank and this DP is from Basic Grey Porcelain range - but unfortunately is discontinued which is silly because it's a favourite of so many peeps!!

Butterflies are a Martha Stewart Punch and the bird cage and sentiment stamps are from a Creative Expressions stamp plate

Now the flower ... the base of the flower is a Marianne Creatables Die and the middle of the flower is made with Seam Binding ... I was shown how to do this by a good friend of mine Jackie Da Silva ... check out her blog HERE  - so I can't take credit for the idea but I've done a little tutorial for you which I'm sure she won't mind me showing you how
