Another week has passed and another week closer to Christmas LOL - and this week at DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB we are DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS

We want to see your lovely Christmas Creations in WHITE but you can use one other colour as well :)

Here's mine

This is the first outing for Reindeer Tilda and I've coloured her with a range of cream/brown copics, the embossing folder is a Tim Holtz one from Sizzix which I have embossed using whitewash coredinations card and sanded back, the flowers are the Marianne Design Poinsetta range, the charm is from my friend Sharon's shop EWE 2 CAN CRAFT - pop on over she has a fantastic range of charms plus much, much more!!! the sentiment is one of mine I designed especially for the DCD DT to use on this challenge - same sentiment but in different colours to match the colour they used on their cards - if you would like details of this set please email me on lindasalmon826@btinternet.com :)

IT'S ALL IN THE FINE PRINT

Afternoon All

Another week gone by - where does the time go - I'll tell you ... it flies by when you are trying to sort your stamp sets / workshops out LOL :)

Anyway it's new challenge time at FAIRY FUN FRIDAY and this time we want to see TEXT in your creations - if you have no idea what I mean (and I must admit I didn't at first LOL) then head on over to check out all the fabulous designs our Fairy Princesses have come up with - we have new Princesses including our Maddie who's our Junior Princess - and you will get all the inspiration you need :) It's not as difficult as you might think

I have used A HELPING HAND - I just love this image - and I've coloured with copics, I have used a text background paper which is all about the seaside, I've also embossed a script folder on coredinations card and sanded it back and finished off with a tag, ribbon bow and flowers :)

Well ... two weeks have passed and we have loved looking at all your baby baby creations over at TOTALLY TILDA - but now it's time for another theme and this time we want to see your Tildas with Hearts!!

As you can see I love these heart dies and this time I've cut it out on coredinations card, embossed it with my hearts folder and sanded it back, and for once I've stamped a greeting! and punched it out with my stampin up oval punches, colouring my hanging Tilda with copics :o)

Goodness two weeks has passed since our last challenge at TOTALLY TILDA - time sure flies!!!!!

I love this baby Tilda she is just soooooo cute!!!! I've coloured her with copics and embossed the background using whitewash colour core card and sanded it back.  Thought I'd keep it quite simple just adding some flowers, card candy and a ribbon

PURPLE/ORANGE CHRISTMAS

Morning All

Well ... this is the last challenge of the year for DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB awwh :( .... hope you had fun making all your christmas cards and are looking forward to another year ... doing exactly the same LOL - I know I've had loads of fun and can't wait to get started on next year ... yeah yeah yeah I know I'm sooooo sad!!!!

Anyway this challenge will run for 3 WEEKS and will end on Friday 7th January and the theme is ..... wait for it .... PURPLE AND ORANGE with an optional additon of GREEN - I know you are thinking OH MY GOODNESS but believe me when I say we all thought that but once we got started we had great fun and it really isn't as bad as it seems - go on have a go you know you want to LOL!!

SITTING ON A WALL

Hi Everyone!!

I'm a very happy bunny today as my daughter came home from her holiday in Mexico - I worry when she goes away LOL - she said the weather here is a bit different to what she's used to!!!!

Anyway ... I thought I'd share with you a card I made for a class I taught last week "Hidden Messages" - had to use a Tilda ...obviously!

This is one of the new Christmas Range Magnolias and I've coloured her with promarkers and added some glitter, the embossing folder is a new one from Creative Expression and works perfectly for her to sit on!! I've embossed it on coredinations card and sanded it back, added some "night sky" backing paper and attached the two with a brad so that it works like a hinge and when lifted reveals the message underneath :o)

This is an image from Di's Digi Downloads and is called Windy Play - I love Di's images they are so great to colour and work with and I've coloured with promarkers.  The DP is from the Hampstead collection from Papermania as is the border sticker.

I've used a cuttlebug mini embossing folder to make the greeting and inked it.

Hello Again!!

2nd posting of the day - and probably the last as I'm having the family over later for a BBQ - glad i'm not cooking in this heat lol :o)

I downloaded this image a week or so ago and couldn't wait to use it - it's from Phindy's Place and its called "Birdie" - I just love her!! I've coloured her with promarkers .. but this time I printed out onto watercolour paper to try, and it gives a "feathered" effect - something a little different.  I have followed a sketch and colour theme and added a few embellies :o)

Good Morning Blogland!!

Hope you all had a good Bank Holiday weekend - weather was a bit of a wash out ... but hey .... great for crafting!!

Thought I'd start the day with a challenge or two :o)

I've followed a sketch, used faux stitching, a bit of embossing, a colour theme, and a Lili of the Valley stamped image and .... for once ..... NOT coloured with promarkers but used my Lyra Polycolour pencils and used the blender pencil to blend the edges - it made a real change!!
