Now this is a scheduled post and I hope that it's worked as I am out all day today at a Trade Day at one of my suppliers looking at gorgeous ribbons & lace & buttons and .... CHRISTMAS!!!! So I hope to have some lovely goodies this week to add to my website .... watch this space ...

IT'S FATHER'S DAY

Good Morning Blogland

Well Sunday morning means ironing for me ... I don't know why I leave it to pile up ..but I do!!! and Sunday morning seems to be the time that I always do it :( Oh well the sooner it's done the sooner I can craft :)

Today sees our 3rd challenge start at HERE COME THE BOYS ... can you believe we are on No. 3 already!! and this time our theme is:

FATHER'S DAY

I used a stamp I bought ages ago and haven't used (as you do) and coloured with copics, the papers are some I forgot I had (as you do) ... I really should rummage through my drawers more often LOL!!

The ribbon is that lovely RETRO STITCH RIBBON which is part of the prize for this challenge and the sentiment is part of a set of 6 FATHERS DAY both of which can be found at CRAFTS 4 YOU

Oh well ... off to do the ironing I supppose ...

A SKETCH FOR THE BOYS!!

Morning All

Well .. can you believe it ... it's been two whole weeks since HERE COME THE BOYS was launched and what a response we had to our first challenge - WOW!!! Thank you so much!!!

Anyway .. it's time to start CHALLENGE NO: 2 and this time we want you to

FOLLOW A SKETCH ....

AND OF COURSE MAKE YOUR CREATION FOR A BOY!!

If you've never followed a sketch before you have to keep to the basic layout but you can re-size the elements or turn the sketch around .. as long as the basic layout is kept - if in doubt check out the fab DT cards for inspiration :)

Here's mine ...

I couldn't resist using one of my lovely Hanglar Stanglar stamps - just love this set!!! and I coloured him with promarkers.  The sentiment is from a Hero Arts sentiment set ANYTIME MESSAGES and I've punched it out with the stampin up oval punch.  The DP is double sided by Fancy Pants and is called SHELBY

and what a beautiful morning is it here in Sunny Essex :) hope you all enjoy your Bank Holiday whatever you are doing

Well... how exciting .... today sees the launch of HERE COME THE BOYS challenge blog - I'm so excited to be a part of it!!! Sharon and Wendy asked me to be on their DT and it didn't take long for me to say yes LOL!! Blogland needs a good "Boys" challenge and here it is ... so I hope you will join us

The sentiment is one of mine and is from my new range of clear stamps that consist of 4 blank shapes with approx 10 sentiments that fit inside

 this one is the "Ticket" set and can be found at my shop CRAFTS 4 YOU - when stamped out it fits perfectly inside the EK Success Tickets punch (which are on order and should be in store soon)

A NEW CHALLENGE BLOG AND SCRUMMY CANDY!!!

Evening All!!

Just thought I'd pop by a let you know about a new Challenge Blog and some scrummy candy!!

Two very good friends of mine SHARON and WENDY WOO have got together to come up with a challenge blog especially for the men in our lives HERE COME THE BOYS and I am so lucky to have been asked to be on their DT - can't wait to get started.  We will be making boy/men themed cards and paying some particular attention to EDWIN.  Now those of you who know me know I LOVE TILDA!!!! but I also have rather a large collection of her counterpart Edwin and he sometimes gets a raw deal so I think he is going to be used quite a bit!!!
