SUMMERTIME ... and the living is easy :o)

Good Morning All!!
Lovely sunny morning now after the rain :o)
Sorry there were  no cards yesterday but I was busy making design team cards for DCD Christmas Club Challenge Blog
So .... after making Christmas cards all day yesterday I need SUMMER!! I found this digi image at Phindy's Place - isn't she sweet!! I've coloured her with promarkers and made my flowers out of different size daisy punches. The sentiment is computer printed and i've cut it out with my favourite nestabilities set at the moment Ribbon Tag Trio 2.

The challenges I am entering are :
Phindy's Place - 3D (in my case the flowers and sentiment)

WE BELIEVE IN SANTA

Hey Everyone, I'm back again lol
More football = more crafting!!
This time I thought it's time for Christmas :o)

This is a stamp I bought two Christmas' ago and have never used it (as you do!!) so decided to dig it out because I wanted to stamp it three times and cut it out to mount up - in line with one of the challenges.

JUST THINKING

Good Morning All!!
And what a glorious morning it is!!
Before I tell you about my card I must just say a BIG, HUGE THANK YOU for all your lovely comments yesterday regarding my good news.  For those of you who know me, you know I have had lots of problems with my ears for the last 7 months and it has been getting me down.  Yesterday's news just made me feel wonderful and all your good wishes was just the icing on the cake. And .......... when I thought it couldn't get any better I woke up this morning to find out I had won the Sentimental Sunday challenge last week - Life if just soooooo good!!!
So .... back to my card - I wanted to use a digi image today as I haven't in a while so, with that in mind, I went in search of a challenge or two lol. This image is a Mo Manning one - Dani and Friends I just love this set of three I downloaded a few months ago. I have coloured her with promarkers, done some embossing and used a Freebie from Sentimental Sundays Blog and printed it out, added a few flowers and gems, followed a sketch and Voila!!

PRINCESS TILDA

Hey Everyone ..... I said I would be back!!
I'm still on cloud nine but it's nice and comfy here making cards lol
I needed to make a card for my God-Daughter who is 21 next week (where have all those years gone!), and what a good excuse to use Princess Tilda :o)
And, of course, I couldn't make a card without entering it for a challenge or two so ..... I coloured her with Promarkers and the nestie is Labels 10 and I inked it after I had embossed it and before I took it out, I followed a colour scheme which I thought suited the occasion and couldn't pass up the chance to add sparkle, swirls and pearls.  The sentiment is computer printed onto Safmat and is almost transparent.
To follow the theme of one of the challenges I "altered some embellishments", I coloured the pearl centre of the flowers with Promarkers to match the colour scheme and did the same to the lace, both of which started out white.  The flowers are a cuttlebug die and the swirls are Marianne Creatables

BEAUTIFUL TULIPS!!

Good morning all!!
What a beautiful day ..... just a quick posting this morning as I have the dreaded housework to do :( .
I made this card, as usual lol, to fit with a few challenges, but it was a brilliant excuse to use this stamp I bought a few weeks ago. I absolute loooooovvvvveeeee Tulips!!!! They are, without a doubt, my favourite flower and when they are in season you can always find them in my home. As the stamp is quite filled in it was a bit of a challenge to colour - but I stamped with memento London Fog to give it a softer feel and them just using greens and pinks highlighted it - I went over bits of it with glossy accents but unfortunately the picture doesn't show it too well. The sentiment is off of a My Sentiments Exactly stamp set and I thought it just about said it all !!

IN THE GARDEN WITH TILDA

Good Evening
Football on .. again ...
Ears are not good .... again ....
So the only thing to do is make more cards lol!!!!
I haven't posted a Magnolia card for a while and I was getting withdrawal symptons - so with a few a challenges in mind - I came up with this. Tilda with ladybug is a favourite of mine - simply because I love ladybugs and the stamp was a present from two dear friends of mine. She is coloured with promarkers, of course, and I have used the "loops" Martha Stewart edger punch. The dragonfly's are punched out of a 2" Woodware punch.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Hello Everyone!!
Lovely warm day if somewhat cloudy :o)
Anyway ..... thought I'd do a quick post while I'm waiting for Andy Murray to come on at Wimbledon - and as its a lovely summer day I thought i'd do another Christmas Card lol!!
This one was made with a few challenges in mind - I wanted to keep it simple and stay away from stamping so turned to my trusty Cuttlebug. I used the cut and emboss Christmas Trees and simply inked the edges of them, my new nesties I bought today "Labels 1" made the sentiment (I printed it on the computer and then cut around it) and just added some glitter, ribbon and card candy

ADVENT CALENDER

Hello everyone!!
No card to post today as I've been painting all day - good news is my kitchen is more or less done - just need a blind for my window and I'm there yay!!!!
Anyway .... looking through all my challenges I enter, I came across this one from Bah Humbug - A Child's Christmas, this challenge invites you to make something for a child - which can be a card .... or a toy ... or in my case an advent calender. I made this for my Great Nephew last December. It is a Karen Foster blank kit and you decorate however you like - I decided to do it bright and cheery as he is only 3 and I popped a chocolate santa in each box. The embellishment on the front of each drawer I cut on my Cricut machine - he absolutely loved it and the best bit about it is you can use it time and time again
Hope you like it :o)

KISSING UNDER THE MISTLETOE

Afternoon blogland!!
Sitting in my conservatory in the sunshine and I thought I know, I'll make another Christmas Card - as you do - lol!!  I downloaded some digi images this morning from Digi Stamp Boutique - they have some great images .... pop over and have a look.  Anyway, this one, Alex & Felicity with mistletoe, just jumped out at me and I had to have it!! I have coloured them in - yes you guessed it - promarkers, and the snowflakes background papers and cardstock are from a digi set called Large Snowflakes from Pink Petticoat. The shapes are from Labels 2 Nestabilites and I have inked the inside before I took the card out (my favourite thing to do at the moment).  The colour scheme was inspired by the Challenge at Papertake Weekly.
Hope you like it :o)
The Challenges I am entering are:
Papertake Weekly - Ice Cream Colours (in my case Mint Choc Chip .. mmmm my favourite)

OLD TIME FOOTBALLER

Hi Everyone!!
Not a good day all in all :o( - I spent all morning at the hospital re: my ears .... again..... still not sorted out - getting very frustrated now!! Came home got ready for a 1:1 Cricut Class at In2crafting, got all set up and they didn't turn up!!! I waited for 2 hours!! Oh well such is life I suppose - but very annoying!
Anyway .... I'm on card no. 4 out of 5 for father's day - this one is for my father-in-law from my children - I bought this stamp set a while ago and have never used it - it is the "Flippin Men" range which has a front and back image of a footballer, a border of boots/balls and a couple of sentiments - I decided to do some different colouring this time using only the "Warm Grey" range of promarkers to give is an old fashioned sepia feel (the warm grey collection is a browny/grey), I then stamped and punched out 3 borders to follow the Passion for Promarkers sketch - the sentiment is computer generated and punched out. I am quite pleased with the effect - what do you think????
