Well .... did you watch the wedding yesterday???? Wasn't it great ... didn't Kate look beautiful .... and that dress ... wow!!!

So not a lot got done yesterday lol - need to make up for it today hehe!!

Anyway today sees the start of another challenge at DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB where this time the theme is :

CHRISTMAS FAIRIES / ANGELS

This gorgeous little fairy is called TWINKLETOES and I've coloured her with copics, cut her out with nesties and added some embellies - the FLOWERS can be found at my online store CRAFTS 4 YOU

The sentiment is also one of mine and can be found as either digi downloads at SENTIMENTS 4 YOU or a clear stamp set at CRAFTS 4 YOU

Another beautiful day here in sunny Essex!! Christmas seems ages away ... but not in blogland ... and not for DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB as the new challenge starts today :)

This week's theme is CREATE A CHRISTMAS SCENE

you must use at least 2 stamps and one of which MUST BE A TILDA

This week I am very happy to be sponsoring the challenge from my digi store SENTIMENTS 4 YOU and the DT all very kindly used my sentiments - this set is available to buy now :)

On my card I used Tilda unwrapping gifts and masked her and them stamped the parcels behind her - both were coloured with copics - I made my sentiment large to be a focal point and cut out with nesties.  The scallop card blank is a new favourite shape of mine ... and I will be selling them, along with the petal point shape, from my new online store when it launches next week!!

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME ... WITH TILDA!!!

Well ... what a busy week .. and still going strong!!

Today sees another challenge at DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB and this time we want to see your CHRISTMAS TILDA ... AND YOU MUST ADD SOME FLOWERS

Our DT has come up with some fantastic creations and .... we have a new DT Girlie ... her name is WENDY ... please, please, please take a moment to check out her blog - her creations are just gorgeous and she will be a welcome addition to our fab DT - WELCOME WENDY WOO!!!!

Here's my card :)

I love this little Tilda with her gift :) .. I've coloured her with copics, the flowers are Marianne design poinsettias and I've cut them using "flock" paper, the DP is part of a DCWV paper stack and cut with nesties and I've embellished with string and card candy :)

Oh well .... off now for another busy day!!! Be back soon to let you know my exciting news ... here's just a tease ....

I wonder what I'm up to ..... hmmmmmm .... hehehe

SKETCH IT WITH LAVENDER & LACE

Good Morning All!!

Well... what a busy day this is going to be for me!!! Our daughter is getting engaged today and we are having a party tonight and guess who's doing the food!!! Should be a good night though - I might even put some pics up tomorrow if they are not too bad LOL!!

Anyway ... back to business another challenge starts today over at DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB and this time we want you to follow one of Karen's great sketches

this little cutie is a from a Penny Black T for Transparent set Xmas Snapshots - coloured with copics, the DP is from a Cosmo Cricket paper stack Mitten Weather, the snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is one of mine which is part of a set of 6 which can be found at SENTIMENTS 4 YOU as either a clear stamp set or as digi downloads :)

Hope you are all having a fun weekend so far ... I've had a busy week and a fun day yesterday ... my class went well and I hope my ladies enjoyed themselves :)

Anyway... it's Saturday so that means another challenge at DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB

this is one of a set of 25 sketches I made for my class yesterday :)

the image is from Penny Black and I've coloured with copics, matted and layered onto nestie cut shapes.  I've embellished with stars that I cut out from the DP (DCWV Glitter Stack), made some glitter card candy and added a charm.  The sentiment is part of a new design set of 6 which can be found at SENTIMENTS 4 YOU

I'm off to Towerlands in Braintree today for the Stitch and Craft, Craft Fair - must say looking forward to a girly day out and some "must have that" spending LOL

DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB

This week we want you to MAKE A CARD WITH A MATCHING TAG ... I had such fun doing this one as I've discovered a new technique I love - still need a lot of practise - but I just love it! Stamping on Kraft Card and colouring with my polycolour pencils - such a different look :)

Here's my card & tag

This is Santa's little helper sitting on her candy cane :) As I said I've coloured with polycolours pencils but instead of using odorless white spirit to blend (because it just stains the kraft card) I used my splender blender pencil to blend and polish.  The sentiment is one of mine and is part of a set of 6 which is available as either a stamp set or digi download ... head on over to SENTIMENTS 4 YOU to check them out :)

This is the first outing for Reindeer Tilda and I've coloured her with a range of cream/brown copics, the embossing folder is a Tim Holtz one from Sizzix which I have embossed using whitewash coredinations card and sanded back, the flowers are the Marianne Design Poinsetta range, the charm is from my friend Sharon's shop EWE 2 CAN CRAFT - pop on over she has a fantastic range of charms plus much, much more!!! the sentiment is one of mine I designed especially for the DCD DT to use on this challenge - same sentiment but in different colours to match the colour they used on their cards - if you would like details of this set please email me on lindasalmon826@btinternet.com :)

Well ... I'm feeling a bit better this morning after getting an early night last night .... these migraines really knock me out for a few days :o(

Anyway .... it's Christmas time again and another challenge at DCD CHRISTMAS CLUB the theme this week is CHRISTMAS LACE

and we all got to play with some great digi images - please go have a look at all the DT cards .. we have all used different images and my fellow DT girlies have come up with some gorgeous creations!!

Here's mine

This is my first attempt at a door hanger!! My lovely friend Susie Sugar sent me some of these hangers - go check out her store DIE CUT DREAMS she has some amazing die cuts for sale and obviously get yourself some of these hangers ... they are so much fun to make!!!

The stocking is a digi image from Robyn Fetish and I flipped the image in photoshop so it was facing the other way and I've coloured the stocking and my sweet Tilda with copics.

The other thing I'm really excited about is my new Nestie Stamps!! OYSTER STAMPS have a range of clear stamps that fit your nesties perfectly!! I've got the ones that fit my Ribbon Trio Tag set and also a set that fits my circles/scallop cirlces/lacey circles all in one set!!  

The sentiment is one of mine which you can find at SENTIMENTS 4 YOU - I printed it out, stamped around it and then cut it out with the nestie - PERFECT!!! I LOVE THEM!!!
