Hope you all had a good day ... I've had my nails done and bought my sweets for Christmas .. now will they last until Christmas ... ooooh such temptation LOL!!!

Anyway .. thought I'd show you a card I made for a really good friend of mine Wendy Woo .. I missed her birthday :( but saw her last Saturday so she got a belated one ... better late then never eh??

This little cutie is from Hanglar Stanglar and I've coloured her with Copics.  The DP is from a My Minds Eyes paper stack that was free with a magazine and I used my new Stampin Up pendant punch to punch out of it too ... sentiment is from Stampin Up as well

A SKETCH FOR THE BOYS!!

Well .. can you believe it ... it's been two whole weeks since HERE COME THE BOYS was launched and what a response we had to our first challenge - WOW!!! Thank you so much!!!

Anyway .. it's time to start CHALLENGE NO: 2 and this time we want you to

FOLLOW A SKETCH ....

AND OF COURSE MAKE YOUR CREATION FOR A BOY!!

If you've never followed a sketch before you have to keep to the basic layout but you can re-size the elements or turn the sketch around .. as long as the basic layout is kept - if in doubt check out the fab DT cards for inspiration :)

Here's mine ...

I couldn't resist using one of my lovely Hanglar Stanglar stamps - just love this set!!! and I coloured him with promarkers.  The sentiment is from a Hero Arts sentiment set ANYTIME MESSAGES and I've punched it out with the stampin up oval punch.  The DP is double sided by Fancy Pants and is called SHELBY

Well .... it seems like ages since I posted a card "just for fun" and thought this morning that's exactly what I gonna do!! I felt like cheering myself up so last night I stamped and coloured loads of images and decided to look through some challenges and see what I could enter.

Well ... what a couple of days it's been - been busy making all my family christmas cards for the special ones in my life so I've got lots to share with you over the course of the next couple of weeks LOL - I know you will think I'm mad but I always made a card for my husband, daughter and son ....... from our westie Skye - go on laugh at me!!! but it gives me an excuse to make more cards and they love it!!!

HAPPY 21ST LAURA!!!

Morning All!!

Just off out shortly in this glorious weather NOT!!! so before I go thought I'd share with you a card I made for one of my best friend's daughter - I have know her since she was born and cant believe she is now 21!!! There is only 5 months between her and my daughter - where does time go?????

Anyway .... here it is :o)

I used a Hanglar stamp and I've coloured her with pencils and blended for change, the flower is one of my new Martha Stewart punches I bought at the NEC on Sunday and I made a brad with my Papermania brad maker for the middle, the greeting is mounted on scallop circles cut with nesties. The "21" is cut from a Tim Holtz sizzix alphabet strip - Vintage Market.

SWEET BABY

Good Morning All!!

Had a busy day or so ... working yesterday and then went to my nephew's 21st birthday party last night - FANCY DRESS!!! LOL I was a fairy godmother LOL .. would you like to see a pic ... scroll down to the bottom of this post to have a laugh!!

Anyway ... back to cards.... one of my daughter's friends has just had her first baby ... awwhh... so I had the job of making a card :o)  and I had to use my baby Hanglar - it's just so cute!!!
