FATHER'S DAY :O)

Hello Blogland!!
Well .... I've made a start on the father's day cards I have to make (5 in all!!!) and I thought why not combine them with some challenges lol.  Not surprisingly there are lot of male themed challenges around this week so I wasn't short of ones to choose from.

This is a digi image from Mo Manning and I coloured him with promarkers using colours from one of the challenges. I love easel cards at the moment so that was great. The DP is from the Hampstead range by Papermania. (By the way the card is from my daughter to her dad, she is 20 and still calls him daddy - how sweet!!)

CAT IN A BRA :O)

Hey everyone!!
Well...... I thought I wouldn't be able to enter any challenges this week what with my kitchen being fitted but after having a look around my favourite challenges I found two that I could enter this card for .... yay!!!. I made this card for my niece's birthday a while ago but have never posted it. I absolutely love this stamp - it's probably one of my favourite Penny Black stamps, I have painted it with distress inks and added some glitter, used some gems, flowers and some doodling around the edges.

Hope you like it :o)

NO CHALLENGES FOR A WEEK :O(

Hi Everyone in Blogland
Just a quick post, I thought I'd let you know that there will be no new cards or challenges for me this week - I have a new kitchen being fitted - which is great - but at the moment I have no water and a craft area that resembles a dump site!!!  I had to clear out all the bit and pieces from my kitchen yesterday and put them somewhere and it just happens to be where I craft - I've got withdrawal symptons already lol!!  I might just be able to reach some images I stamped out a while ago and colour those in but that will be it :o( - Still look on the bright side ..... my kitchen will be wonderful!!!!

Here's how it looks as of half an hour ago.....

.......and this is where I usually craft
as you can see not a chance of crafting at the moment!!
- i'll be back later in the week with an update
Lots of Love xxx

FLOWERS FOR YOU

Good Morning Blogland!!
Hope you all had a good Bank Holiday weekend - weather was a bit of a wash out ... but hey .... great for crafting!!
Thought I'd start the day with a challenge or two :o)
I've followed a sketch, used faux stitching, a bit of embossing, a colour theme, and a Lili of the Valley stamped image and .... for once ..... NOT coloured with promarkers but used my Lyra Polycolour pencils and used the blender pencil to blend the edges - it made a real change!!

Hope you like it :o) xx

ONE FOR THE BOYS

Hello Again
Second posting of the day
Trawling through blogland at some of my favourite challenges and came up with these 3.
I love my Charmed Cards and Craft digi downloads and don't use them nearly enough - but after finding Dotties World challenge I'm making use of them, colouring, of course, with promarkers and using my stampin up goodies from my all day workshop the other week - all in all a good combination I think??

The challenges I am entering are:

HOT "N" SPICY

Hello Everyone :o)
Another cloudy day ........... another crafting day!!
Challenges a plenty for this card - Sweet Tilda - she is definately in my top 3!! I love her!!. Decided to combine her with 6 challenges I found. I coloured her with the usual - promarkers - and distressed the DP's and cardstock with both inks and a sanding block and then added flowers and dragonflies - not my usual colour scheme but I really enjoyed combining the spicy colours and I think it works - let me know what you think - thanks for looking :o) xx

JUST HANGING AROUND

Good evening!!
What a miserable day :o( - so perfect for crafting!!!
I am quite proud of my achievements today - I made an anniversary card for my friend and her husband, a 60th birthday card and my third christmas card - below.  I can't show you the others just yet as I haven't given them out - and they can't see them on here before they actually open them for real - so I'll be back with those later in the week.
Anyway .... back to my christmas card.  When I saw the challenge on Winter Wonderland - Sweeties I knew I had to do this card - I've had this tilda for a while and was wondering how to use her ...... hanging on candy canes of course!!!!  The candy canes were cut from my Cricut (Christmas Cheer cartridge).  I coloured her in with promarkers so i'm entering I Love Promarkers - Sketch & Promarkers as well.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking :o) xx

SUPER HERO!!

Hi There!!
Well .... after cleaning out the gloom that is my garage today in readiness for my new kitchen being delivered next week, I decided that I wanted to make a bright and cheery card. As usual my favourite challenges didn't let me down and I found 6 challenges to adapt.  The Digi image is from Charmed Cards and Crafts - "George", coloured, of course, with promarkers - no DP - which makes a refreshing change, the red, blue and yellow "strips" are from a stampin up scallop border punch and the sentiment was printed on the computer.  Thanks for looking

FLOWERS

Good evening all!!
Had a good day today - enjoyed teaching my 1:1 Cricut Class and am back to taking part in my challenges - I made this card for a colouring techniques demo I did at In2crafting where I work, the object being to show as many techniques as possible. This one is one of my favourites - using Tombow brush markers to colour direct to the stamp and then spritz the stamp with water to give a watercolour effect - the result is different each time as it depends on how much water you use. Some of the Penny Black stamps are perfect for this as the block effect lends itself perfectly to colouring.

Hope you like it and thanks for looking :o)

The challenge I am entering is Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Flowers

MAY SKETCH CHALLENGE

Morning All!!
Goodness me it seems like ages since I posted anything but I have been sooooo busy!!! I have had 4 YES 4!! Cricut Classes this week, I have been sorting out the In2crafting May Challenge and on top of that have decorated two rooms...... phew I need a rest!! I have sooo missed my challenges but just haven't had time and can't wait to get back to doing some more next week, - so I thought I'd do a quick post before I go off to get ready to do another Cricut Class.
Here is my Design Team card for the challenge. I have used Joanna Sheen's Precious Petals CD Rom and used circle nestabilies to cut the images into a pyramage. I haven't used CD's for age and really enjoyed doing this
Hope you like it :o)

Thanks for looking :o)
