SPRING - NEW BEGINNINGS

I really should be going to bed as i've got another busy day tomorrow but just a quick "blog" before I do - I made this card for my neighbours who moved last week thought I would enter it to the Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Spring is in the Air - as my interpretation of Spring is new beginnings - thought it might be a bit different to the usual spring cards - thanks for looking :) x

EASTER

Well I've had a very busy day today - I spent 3 hours in Wickes designing and planning my new kitchen which I'm very excited about :) but when I got home I realised that I still had Easter cards to make so I got to work and was pleased with the results and thought I would enter both of these (simply because I couldn't decide which I liked the best) in the  Crafty Angels - Easter challenge hope you like it :) xx

ALL BROWN & PINK

Well, I've just finished watching Dancing on Ice - and what a great final it was!! I just love it and dont know what I will do every Sunday evening now ...... oh well more blogging I suppose lol :)  Anyway before I signed off the computer for the night I thought I might just have one more look and came across this challenge Create 4 Fun - Brown/Pink Challenge and thought I would enter this card I made for a friend of mine who loves a brown/pink combination and also plays the guitar - iris folding is not normally something I would do but loved the challenge of this especially as the shape was the guitar.  Hope you like it :)

ALL MAUVE

I thought i'd try my hand again this week at the  Crafty Catz Challenge - white and one other colour by entering this card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday last week - as usual i'm using a Magnolia stamp but this time instead of using my trusty promarkers I thought I would "paint" it with distress inks - quite enjoyed it and it made a change :)

A DIFFERENT TECHNIQUE

Once again through a link from Sharon's blog (where does she find all these wonderful challenges??) I came across this challenge Fab 'n' Funky - its all in the technique - this made me think about what I do regularly and I decided to enter this card because paper piecing is a technique that I hadn't heard of a while ago until one of my friends who I work with (Di) did it on a workshop and we all had a play and now I love it!! Hope you do too :)

OOH LOVELY CAKE!!

After getting up early and finishing my ironing and eating a lovely sunday lunch I decided to do some blogging - as always my friend Sharon's blog gives me lots of links to follow and I came across Cupcake Craft challenge which involves food and drink (two of my favourite things lol) - and I thought this would be the perfect card to enter - I made this card for a Cricut Demo I did at In2Crafting in January.

MAKE IT MANLY

I was just doing a bit of "blogging" and came across this challenge My Time to Craft - Make it Manly and thought I would enter a card I made a couple of weeks ago for my hubbie for his birthday from my daughter - this was also a really good excuse to use two of my favourite things Magnolia Stamps and Promarkers - hope you like it :)

I LOVE PROMARKERS

Well, the title of this post says it all!!  What more can I say except they are probably my most favourite thing.  I can honestly say that I probably use promarkers on 99% of all cards I make - I just cant help myself :) and when I found I Love Promarkers Challenge I couldnt help myself I just had to enter ... hope you like my card :)

HEDGEHOG AND LADYBUG :)

Well, I'm still trying to get over losing my beloved laptop for a few days but making another cards has soothed me somewhat - I love hedgehogs and ladybugs and together they are great!! GIRL IN BLUE

Well, I've had a very traumatic morning, my 3month old brand new computer I got for Christmas has crashed and needs to be taken away to be repaired :( ..... so I'm having to borrow my daughter's laptop so that I can get my cards entered into the challenges!!  I just love Gorjuss Girl stamps and this is my new one so I had to use it and of course where else to enter it but the Totally Gorjuss Challenge - Ribbon

MY FIRST CHALLENGE ENTRY

Hi, this is my very first challenge entry!! I have been "blogging" on my work blog for a few months now but decided to start my own personal blog so as I can have my fix of entering challenges.  I made this card to send to my Great Nephew for Easter (and I used it at my work blog March challenge - In2Crafting) but it fits the Spring, Spring, Spring challenge at The Pink Elephant - I hope I'm lucky - let me know what you think :)
