Well.... I'm off to do my demo today but before I leave I have to tell you that Saturday means a new challenge over at DCD Christmas Club where the challenge this week is :

A DIFFERENT TECHNIQUE

Good Morning All!!

Hope you are well :o)

I've been busy this week preparing for a colouring techniques demo I'm doing at In2Crafting on Saturday 21st - making lots of different samples.

I'm trying not to just use Promarkes LOL - I will be demonstrating Promarkers, of course, but I will also be colouring with pencils and blending with solution, painting with distress inks and this technique below which I tried this week and I'm quite taken with it  - I have printed an image off of a CD Rom in black & white onto textured white card and have then used chalks to highlight different areas - a really simple technique but very effective

I also added some glossy accents

Well ... it has been a busy weekend for me I was working Friday and Saturday and I have been out all day today.  Anyway, when I got home and "logged on" I was delighted to have received a Blog Award

PRETTY POINSETTIA

Good Morning All!!

It's Saturday morning and that means it's another challenge over at the DCD Christmas Club where this's week's challenge is :

Pointsettias / Xmas Floral

This is my new Wild Rose Studio Milton with Poinsettia stamp so I knew he'd be perfect for this challenge :o) I have coloured with promarkers and he is stamped on die cuts from Die Cut Dreams (Susie has some great die cuts so pop on over and have a look). I have added some faux stitching and the die cut poinsettias are from Marianne Creatables

Good Evening

Well ... I've done all my cards for my workshop - and done one of my DT cards I needed to do - so well done to me!!!  Have also spent the day trying to get to grips with "HTML" codes - my brain is frazzled lol - the long and short of it is - it's still not working properly - sooooo frustrating!!!

TILDA GOES TO THE SEASIDE

Morning All!!

Well it feels like ages since I actually sat down and made some cards - still trying to iron out kinks with my "Paypal buttons" on my other blog - but I'm hoping it won't be too long before I'm up and running :o)

Anyway .... next week I start my workshops again after some time off and my first class is "Magnolias with Promarkers" Oh My Goodness what a class to start with!!! This is the first of three cards we will be making

In this card I'm going to show how you can use "masks" and stamp one image over another.  The sentiment is one of mine from a set called "Summer Fun" which will be available shortly to download (keep you fingers crossed lol)

But, me being me, I am entering it in a couple of challenges lol

A BEARY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Morning All!!

Well ... after my exhausting weekend I've realised I've got loads of cards to make this week - an anniversary card, two birthday cards, three cards for a workshop next Tuesday and numerous samples for my Demo on 21st - PHEW!!! Better get going then hadn't I LOL

This is the anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law - but, as you do, had to make sure it fitted a couple of challenges - the image is my newest download from Di's Digi Downloads - A Time to Remember - I just love her images - I've coloured with promarkers and kept to colour theme for one of my challenges.  The sentiment is one of my own designs which I am now selling across on my other blog Sentiments 4 You (bear (excuse the pun lol) with me tho as i'm still "tweaking" - I will post when it is up and ready to use)

My Challenges are :

Good Morning All!!

Welcome to another Saturday morning challenge at DCD Christmas Club where, this week, the challenge is :

SNOWMEN

I love snowmen - they are one of my favourite characters to work with at Christmas and these gorgeous pair I downloaded from Di's Digi Downloads - there are some amazing digi images to work with - go have a look :o)

I wanted to steer away from blues and greys and go with a different theme - so I kept colouring to a minimum - just using warm grey to highlight and only colouring their hats and scarves with a bit of glittering

The brad was made using my Papermania brad maker.

DEMO SAMPLES

Hey everyone!!

Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days but I was at work all day today and have been a busy bee this week - supervising my hubby make a concrete base for our summer house lol - I needed to keep an eye on him :o) I've also started making my samples for my colouring techniques demo I'm doing on 21st August and working on some samples for a Magnolia with Promarkers workshop I'm doing Tuesday week.

Anyway - thought I'd share with you a couple of the cards I made for my Demo - these are both stamps from the Papermania Nostalgia range and they work perfectly with distress inks.  All I've done is stamp them, then using a waterbrush fill them in to give them a painted effect

Afternoon Everyone!!

Well ... I've had a busy day crafting ... I've managed to make my DT card that I needed to do and started making samples for a Colouring Techniques Demo I'm doing at In2Crafting on Saturday 21st August - it will be in our new shop, so all exciting stuff :o)

I'll post some of the cards here nearer the time :o)

Anyway ... On to my card - When my Postman arrived this morning I could hardly contain myself - my new circle scallop cards with stands had arrived and inside was a little surprise from Susie - she had stamped me out Farewell Tilda - Oh My Goodness - excited or what!!!! Thank you sooooo much Susie xx

Afternoon Blogland!!

Just a quick post today and, sorry, no card to show you - I am busy making a scrapbook album for a wedding present that needs to be done by Wednesday - so no pressure then lol

But I had to post this

I was one of the winners at the first Totally Tilda Challenge - I am soooo excited!!!!
